| 6. Tragically, on January 29, 2017, upon returning from a government delegation trip to Indonesia, he was fatally shot outside the airport while hiring a taxi around 5 pm. The assassin, identified as U Kyi Lin from Mandalay, Myanmar, also killed the taxi driver. |
