Overview	Sean was inspired to pursue cricket professionally after watching the ICC ODI World Cup in 2003. He made his List-A cricket debut on 3 December 2003, scoring 32 runs and taking a wicket. His first-class cricket debut occurred on 26 October 2004, where he also performed notably. In 2004, he participated in the Under-19 World Cup, scoring 157 runs and taking five wickets. Sean comes from a sports-oriented family, with significant figures in cricket and hockey. He turned down a central contract from Zimbabwe's cricket board for better opportunities but returned later to play for the national team. He captained the Under-19 team in the 2006 World Cup, marking a win over England. Sean achieved several records, including the fastest ODI century by a Zimbabwean and the fastest Test century by a Zimbabwean. In the 2015 ODI World Cup, he was pivotal in a victory against the UAE. His career-best Test score of 154 came against Afghanistan in December 2024.
