| 1. Sakshi Reddy was tragically killed in Delhi by her boyfriend Sahil on May 28, 2023. Sahil attacked Sakshi with a knife and a concrete slab. She came from a financially struggling family in Delhi. Sahil and Sakshi had been in a relationship since June 2021. The attack took place when Sakshi was buying a gift. The brutal incident was captured on CCTV. Delhi Police swiftly acted upon receiving information about the crime. Sakshi was taken to Ambedkar Hospital but was declared brought dead. Sahil was later arrested in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. Sakshi's family demanded justice for their daughter. Sakshi had expressed her desire to become a lawyer. Sahil was reportedly angered by suspicions of Sakshi's contact with an ex-boyfriend. The Delhi government offered financial assistance to Sakshi's family.
