In July 2021, through a social media post, he shared his one-month physical transformation during which he lost 10 kgs of his body weight. According to Dubey, he achieved the feat without any supplements or protein shakes. He further added that the transformation was for a role for which he had to look lean.
In March 2023, he shared a close-up picture of his new look for his upcoming film Faraddayy. The picture showed him bare-chested, with a cigar in his mouth; wrinkles and paunch were visible on his face with a balding head.
