1. Protima founded Nrityagram, a dance school located in Hesaraghatta, Bengaluru.
2. Protima Bedi established Hideout, the first disco in Mumbai.
3. She initiated her dance school at Prithvi Theatre in Juhu, Mumbai.
4. In 1994, she launched the annual dance-music festival, Vasanthabba.
5. Protima's son, Siddharth Bedi, was diagnosed with schizophrenia.
6. Nrityagram was inaugurated on 11 May 1990 by then-Prime Minister V.P. Singh.
7. She appeared in the English film Miss Beatty's Children (1992) directed by Pamela Rooks.
