Political Journey	He contested and lost the 1996 general elections from the Nagaur Lok Sabha constituency on Samata Party's ticket. He contested and lost the 1998 general elections from the Barmer Lok Sabha constituency on BJP’s ticket. Formed Samajik Nyaya Manch (Social Justice Front) in 2003 with BJP leader Devi Singh Bhati before Rajasthan assembly elections to advocate for reservation for economically backward Rajputs. The party won only one seat (Kolayat in Bikaner). Founded Karni Sena on 23 September 2006 in Jhotwara locality of Jaipur to demand caste-based reservation for Rajputs. Left Karni Sena in 2010 due to differences with president Ajeet Singh Mamdoli and formed Shri Rajput Karni Sena (SRKS). Led nationwide protests against the release of Jodhaa Akbar (2008) and Padmavat (2018), gaining national prominence for these campaigns.
