1. He was born into a Gaur Brahmin family in Pilkhuwa, Ghaziabad.
2. His father, Dr. Chandra Pal Sharma, worked as a lecturer at R.S.S. Degree College in Pilkhuwa, linked to Chaudhary Charan Singh University of Meerut.
3. Despite his father's wish for him to pursue engineering, his love for poetry led him to obtain a Master’s Degree in Hindi Literature.
4. Upon earning his Ph.D. in Hindi Literature, he began his career as a lecturer in Rajasthan in 1994.
5. He is renowned for his poetry in the Shringara-Ras (Romantic Genre).
6. Not only a poet, he also pens lyrics for various TV serial theme songs.
7. In 2011, he actively supported the anti-corruption movement initiated by Anna Hazare.
8. He aligned with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) under Arvind Kejriwal's leadership and contested the 2014 Lok Sabha election against Rahul Gandhi in the Amethi constituency of Uttar Pradesh.
