1. Kashmala Tariq is a well-known Pakistani politician and lawyer.
2. In 1993, she was appointed as the President of the Peoples Students Federation (PSF).
3. From January 2003 to January 2018, Kashmala served as the Executive Director of the Parliamentarians Commission for Human Rights (PCHR) Pakistan.
4. She worked with the corporate law firm Mandviwalla & Zafar before entering politics and now runs her own chamber, Kashmala and Associates.
5. She was the sole voice in the National Assembly who voted against the 19th and 20th constitutional amendments.
6. She served on the committees of National Assembly, Finance, Trade & Commerce and Law Justice and Human Rights for 10 years.
7. She was the first and only Pakistani to win election as Chairperson of Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (CWP) from 2007–2010, elected by 53 countries.
