| 6. In August 2017, Singh bravely faced a large crowd of Dera followers in Panchkula to preside over the trial of self-proclaimed godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Insan. |
| 7. At the trial, Singh found Ram Rahim guilty in a 15-year-long rape case involving two Sadhvis. |
| 8. Following the trial, Singh sentenced Ram Rahim to 20 years in prison (10 years each for two rape cases) and fined him 14 lakh rupees for each victim, before being transferred to Sonaria Jail in Rohtak. |
