1. Harish Salve is an Indian lawyer and senior advocate at the Supreme Court of India, specializing in constitutional, commercial, and taxation laws.
2. Before pursuing law, Salve worked as a Chartered Accountant with a focus on taxation.
3. He served as the Solicitor General of India from 1999 to 2002.
4. Salve represented India at the International Court of Justice in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case in 2017, charging only Rs 1 as his fee.
5. He has been appointed as Amicus Curiae by the Supreme Court of India in numerous cases.
