Chaganti Koteswara Rao was selected as the cultural advisor for the government of Andhra Pradesh in 2016.
Retired from the Food Corporation of India in Kakinada in August 2018.
He regularly delivers discourses on various Indian epics, including Bhagavata, Ramayana, Mahabharata and Puranas.
His discourses were aired on devotional TV channels such as Bhakti TV and SVBC TTD.
He has set records for delivering discourses like Ramayana in 42 days, Bhagavatam in 42 days, Siva Puranam in 30 days, and Sri Lalita Sahasara Namam in 2-3 months.
