Veteran Marathi actor Ashok Saraf was honored with the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year β Lifetime Achievement Award 2026. The award was presented by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde at the Gateway of India in Mumbai.

Celebrated Marathi actor Ashok Saraf received the Padma Shri, Indiaβs fourth-highest civilian award, during a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan. President Droupadi Murmu presented the award, recognizing Saraf's significant contributions to both Marathi and Hindi cinema over five decades.
