| 1. Kisan Baburao Hazare was born in Bhingar near Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra to Laxmi Bai and Baburao Hazare. |

| 9. Through activism, he transformed Ralegan Siddhi into a model village by eradicating liquor dens and promoting self-sustainability. |

| 18. Kisan Baburao Hazare was born on 15th June, 1938 at Bhingar Village near Ahmednagar. Although he belongs to Ralegan Siddhi Village which is tucked in Parner taluka of Ahmednagar District, his paternal grandfather worked as a sweeper in the British Army in the Bhingar Cantonment. Thus, his entire family used to stay with him in Bhingar. |
