Awards, Honours, Achievements	The 12th President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, bestowed an award upon Ilker Ayci at Turkey’s 500 Largest Service Exporters Award Ceremony in Istanbul, Turkey, which was held on 21 December 2021. In December 2021, İlker Aycı became the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at APEX/IFSA Expo 2021 for his achievements, contributions, and dedication to the airline industry during his more than 25-year career. İlker Aycı was awarded the 3rd Class, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon by Japanese Ambassador Suzuki Kazuhiro in 2021, making him the sixth Turk to receive the Order of the Rising Sun.

1. İlker Aycı is a Turkish businessperson who held the position of Chairman at Turkish Airlines from 2015 to 2022.
2. On 14 February 2022, he was named the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Air India.
