| Some Lesser Known Facts | - Heeba Shah is the daughter of veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah and his first wife, Parveen. After the divorce of her parents, her mother, the legal custodian, took Heeba to Iran. Heeba spent her teenage days in Iran and came back to India after her mother’s demise.
- Following in her father’s footsteps, Heeba started learning the art of acting and graduated from the National School of Drama.
- More of a theater artist, Heeba has acted in only a few Bollywood (Hinglish) films like Mango Scouffle (2002), Missed Call (2005), and Ravi goes to School (2007).
- Not many people know that Heeba is the niece of Surekha Sikri (sister of her mother), the actress who plays the role of Daadisaa in Colors sitcom Balika Vadhu. Because of Heeba’s resemblance to her aunt, she was chosen to play the role of young Daadisaa.
- The entire Shah clan, a family of 5, now acts together in many theatrical shows.
