1. Axar originally preferred to pursue a career as a mechanical engineer instead of becoming a cricketer.
2. At 15 years old, his friend Dhiren noticed Axar's cricketing abilities and encouraged him to participate in an inter-school tournament.
3. His name was misspelled as "Axar" in his school leaving certificate due to a mistake by the principal, and he has used this spelling ever since.
