He was a consensus five-star recruit and the best shooting guard in the 2020 class, with ESPN ranking him number one overall. He forewent college basketball to join the NBA G League Ignite team in its inaugural season.
High School CareerGreen finished his high school career at Prolific Prep in Napa, California. As a freshman at San Joaquin Memorial, he averaged 18.1 points per game and earned MaxPreps Freshman All-American second team honors. In his sophomore season, he averaged 27.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per game, was named MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year, and led San Joaquin Memorial to a Central Section Division II title. For his senior year, he transferred to Prolific Prep, leading the team to a 31-3 record and earning the Sports Illustrated All-American Player of the Year award.
