23/03/2026 Following the death of Farsa Wale Baba, members of the Bajrang Dal, led by district co-convener Satyam Soni, protested in Nautanwa tehsil, Sant Kabir Nagar. They submitted a letter to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) addressed to the Chief Minister, demanding action against those responsible for what they termed his 'brutal murder'. The protesters accused the administration of falsely implicating cow vigilantes and warned of further agitation if swift action was not taken.
