2. In his teenage years, he showed an interest in politics and displayed leadership qualities.
3. As a high school student, he joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and helped his schoolmates resolve issues.
4. He participated in protests against Indira Gandhi’s Emergency in 1975 and spent 11 months in jail.
5. In 2007, the Government of Gujarat eliminated Octroi based on a recommendation from the Vajubai Vala Committee.
6. He was associated with RSS for 57 years.
