1. Anirban Lahiri began his professional golf career in 2007 and achieved success by winning eleven events in 2009 on the Professional Golf Tour in India.
2. In 2012, Lahiri managed to qualify for a major tournament, the Open Championship.
3. In recognition of his outstanding performance in golf, Lahiri received the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2014.
4. During 2015, Lahiri secured two titles on the European Tour and rose to the top 50 rankings worldwide.
