| Rishi Sunak was born in a Hindu family. He grew up in a small house with two younger siblings – Sanjay Sunak and Rakhi. As a child, Rishi used to deliver medicines on a bicycle to help his mother run her pharmacy. His father was a general practitioner. Rishi worked part-time at an Indian restaurant in the UK. After completing his studies at Winchester College, he went to Oxford University where he pursued a degree in PPE. He also earned an MBA from Stanford University on a Fulbright scholarship. Before entering politics, he worked at Goldman Sachs, The Children’s Investment Fund, and co-founded The Children's Investment Fund Management, an investment firm supporting British businesses. |
