| Records/Achievements | - Mayank was the leading run scorer for India Under-19 in the World Cup 2010.
- During IPL 2011, he played some marvellous innings for RCB. One of them was 31-ball 41 against the Mumbai Indians.
- In 2015, while playing against South Africa-A, he contributed 176 of 133 and constructed a strong partnership of 203 with Manish Pandey, leaving the opposition with an un-chasable target of 372.
- In November 2017, he scored his maiden triple century in first-class cricket, making 304 not out for Karnataka against Maharashtra in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy.
- He was the leading run-scorer in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy with 1,160 runs and in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy with 723 runs.
- In June 2018, he was awarded the Madhavrao Scindia Award for the highest run-scorer in Ranji Trophy by the BCCI.
- In October 2019, he scored his maiden Test century (215) against South Africa, becoming the second Indian opener after Virender Sehwag to score back-to-back centuries against South Africa.
- He captains Karnataka across all formats in domestic cricket.
