3. Before moving to New Zealand, his father managed an electronic sales and service business in Mumbai's Jogeshwari area.
4. Upon relocation to New Zealand, he started playing cricket casually before his uncle, Saeed Patel, introduced him to the Newlyn cricket club.
5. In 2012, he transitioned to the Taradale club and embarked on a domestic cricket career with the Central District, impressing with his dedication and approach.
6. Ajaz made his List-A debut on 27 December 2015 and has since become a key player for the New Zealand cricket team.
